Dylar® is the brand name for polypropylene non woven spunbond manufactured by TPR. The Dylar® family includes a complete range of products offering a wide choice of weights, widths and additives.

Dylar® non woven spunbond are made of continuous filaments that are thermally bonded through a calendering process.  Polypropylene granules are extruded and spun to form a web of filaments.

Then the latter are point-bonded together by calendering using a smooth roller and an engraved roller that imprints the pattern on the non woven spunbond (“point-embossing”). The process is constantly monitored to guarantee consistent product quality.

Dylar® spunbond nonwovens are available in weights from 12 to 150 g/m². Special additives are used to produce highly specialized products to meet the needs and requirements of the various application sectors.
