Radici Plastics GmbH research a Distribution Manager

RADICI Plastics GMbH is the German Company of High-Performance Polymers Business Unit of RadiciGroup, one of the world’s leading producers of a wide range of chemical intermediates, polyamide polymers, engineering plastics, synthetic fibers, with approximately 3.000 employees, and a network of production and sales sites located throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

The Distribution Manager of Radici Plastics GmbH, will be responsible for planning and executing the distribution strategy, ensuring achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will be expected to monitor and analyze distribution channel performance, identifying opportunities for improvement in a specific geograpfic area: DACH, East Europe, Scandinavia.

The candidate will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager of Radici Plastics GmbH.

Responsabilities

• manage distribution channels in the assigned geographic area: DACH, East Europe, Scandinavia;
• expand the network of distribution partners in accordance with the strategy defined by the Company for the assigned area;
• collaborate with the Sales colleagues and the technical Marketing team to respond to customer needs;
• prepare specific reports and presentations on the strategies/activities to be implemented;
• monitor price trends in target markets and propose new business strategies;
• coordinate training activities for distributors and support them in organizing technical events for customers (in collaboration with technical Marketing function);
• support distributors in visiting customers;
• plan and ensure regularly forecasting to evaluate and adjust sales strategies and optimize supply chain activities;
• participate in the preparation of the annual budget, considering the strategic goals of sales function.

Technical Knowledge

• strong communication skills as well as understanding of technical products and their applications;
• business acumen in business relationship;
• knowledge of CRM system is a plus;
• knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Job requirements

• technical education, ideally in the plastics industry;
• previous experience in Engineering Plastics Companies;
• at least 5 years of experience in similar roles;
• previous experience in distribution;
• availability to travel in the assigned geographic area;
• excellent knowledge of German and English.

Location: Home-Office.
