Domotex 2013: all the latest products in the Radifloor®, Radigreen®, dorix® and Radilon® staple fibre ranges
At Domotex 2013, the world's leading trade fair for floor coverings, to be held in Hanover, Germany, from 12 to 15 January, RadiciGroup is showcasing all its new yarn and staple fibre products for the contract and residential markets
At Domotex 2013, the world's leading trade fair for floor coverings, to be held in Hanover, Germany, from 12 to 15 January, RadiciGroup is showcasing all its new yarn and staple fibre products for the contract and residential markets.
The spotlight will be on Radifloor® PA6 and PA66 BCF yarn for textile floor covering, particularly the raw nylon-6 700-dtex and 920-dtex product lines; Radifloor® Solid 1000-dtex, 40-filament BCF yarn, ideal for contract applications such as carpet tiles and welcome mats; and Radifloor® PA66 1100-dtex, 256-filament, and Radifloor® PA6 1050-dtex, 200-filament, yarn for the residential sector.
At Domotex 2013, RadiciGroup is also showcasing Radigreen® polyamide and polyolefin artificial grass yarn and dorix® and Radilon® staple fibre.
The Radigreen® product range is known for its continuous evolution and improvement. As at previous Domotex shows, the Radigreen® centrepiece is going to be the exclusive My Radigreen® “All in One” combination of straight and textured monofilament, a line of products specifically designed for residential and commercial synthetic turf. Also to be presented at the fair is the Radigreen® HDF PE line of fibrillated yarn, achieved through the evolution of production technology and the use of high performance polymers. These products are ideal for sports applications where turf with long-lasting resistance to wear and tear from high traffic is required.
All the latest developments in the staple fibre line are moving in the direction of sustainability. At last year’s Domotex, RadiciGroup showcased a PA6 product portfolio of solution-dyed items in a richer variety of colours and a broader selection of counts. At the upcoming Domotex 2013, the Group is presenting a new PA610 staple fibre sold under the brand name dorix® PA610. This new product is manufactured with a polyamide made of 64% natural materials by weight produced by Radici Chimica SpA (a company belonging to the RadiciGroup Chemicals Business Area) starting from hexamethylenediamine and sebacic acid. Thus the new staple fibre ensures a high level of sustainability as well as excellent performance.
